Book Fund Goal: More Books for Young Readers

Kids love books. In fact, sometimes they love them so much, they chew on the corners, tear up the pages and wear out the covers. The Chula Vista Public Library desperately needs more books for its youngest readers: picture books and  easy-to-read chapter books, as well as traditional and e-books for older children and teens.

The Friends executive board has pledged $15,000 to increase and refresh the library's supply of books for children and teenagers. Your donation to the Friends' 2014 Book Fund will help us reach that goal.

Contributions are fully tax-deductible, and 100 percent of all gifts to the Book Fund will be used to purchase books and other library materials.To save on expenses, this year's Book Fund drive is happening only online. Click here to see and download the fund-raising flier; click here to make an online donation today.
